@fabianhjr As discussed the other day, the anglosphere is largely unaware of the original meaning of the word "libertarian", before US ancaps took it over. Hegemony of US usage of English makes Newspeak and non-meaning customs transport derailed versions of the original concept.

@fabianhjr One could reasonably expect that radicals would stick to the root meaning of words and the concepts they represent.

It's a daily struggle for correspondence between words and reality.

@h @fabianhjr political philosophy has a long track record of confusing the meaning of words, but that's a coercive move. Capitalism & the state are both guilty of dominance & hierarchy, so both are enemies of anarchism, thus anarcho-capitalism makes no sense. Still, great way to manipulate the left into supporting something closer to the right: make it sound like freedom.

Also few radicals know the root of *that* word, especially those of us growing up saying "rad."
