the fact that "social justice warrior" is considered by some a derogatory phrase is rather strange. justice refers to truth, reason, law, and secondarily, morality. all of which seems like things we would want applied to each other, right? even nazis expect social justice amongst one another.
we might as well start insulting our peer's interest in our well-being by calling them friends.
@wxl I think that the real problem is that in the same way that most good people agree with feminists, but don't like the vocal violent minority of extremists that use the label "feminist", so it is with social justice warriors.
All [most] of us want social justice, but there are some people who disagree with the methods and vocal extremism that some people use while labeling themselves "social justice warriors".
