@krruzic I just hope there is enough incentive/support for individual instances to keep running. If you have to essentially restart your account because some Joe Admin doesn't want to pay the domain registration or server bill it's a disincentive to use other than as an explicitly temporary space for thoughts. Membership fees?
@krruzic Commercialization of social networks is, imho, what has ruined them. Average everyday working people are so much more interesting than commercialized messaging of agendas.
