@paulfree14 I can imagine, yes. But there are already was a vast civilizatin there, much more sophisticated and complex than Europe's at that time. But the Europeans had guns and ships.
I am still watching this now β this goes far beyond mere cultural confusions, but mass cruelty and slaughter that are hard to even imagine π²

@jd there are documents where the invators found out that some villagers didn't know property as 'western' culture is used to. And they just expressed confusion...unfortunatly as I remember they took that also as a basis for just taking what ever they wanted
