"Some say we are lazy and just want to miss school.
Some adults say it's bad we strike from school.
That we should study instead to make a difference in the future. The little fact that it will be too late by the time we've finished education they ignore.
To the adults that say that, we want to say:
Strike yourself instead!
Strike from work!
Go into the streets and shout!
Do something!
We need your help now more than ever."
Greta Thunberg, today.

"We're not doing this for adults to take selfies with us and say they admire what we do.
We're here to ask the adults to listen to the scientists, dare take responsibility and act.

We are not here to debate. The debate is over.
All we're saying is… listen to the science."
Greta Thunberg, today.

"Our leaders have betrayed us,
our politicians have betrayed us,
media has betrayed us.
To such a degree. that we finally must sacrifice our own education and do that, which most adults don't dare:
To say it as it is, regardless of how unpopular and inconvenient it may be."
Greta Thunberg, today.

"We are here to clean up after our parents and we will not quit until we are done!

Thanks again!"
Greta Thunberg, today.
